Does nioxin shampoo help hair grow?

ive got some thinning hair in the front and top of my head. im only 28, its embarrassing, i cant stand it. the thing is i dont know if its genetic or cause by stress or stuff ive put in my hair. nobody in my family has had any receding hair or loss in the front. im the only one. i read about different causes.





i was getting my hair cut and the stylist told me about nioxin shampoo. does that really work or is it just sales pitch bs? anyone have experience with it?

i had very fine boyish flat lookinq hair and my hairline was a little thin.
